Qualitative Fit Testing – QLFT
- Involves the introduction of a known substance around the head and face of the person wearing the respirator
- It relies on the subjective response of the person wearing the respirator .
- The goal is to determine if the person can smell, taste, or be irritated by the testing material
Test Duration : 15 – 20 minutes per test
Cost
- $45 per person – individual rate
- $40 per person – group rate
